How to Connect Your Personal Bank (Open Banking)

Open Banking lets you link your personal bank accounts to the Stream app. This way, you can track both your earnings and spending in one place. You can go to your Open Banking by tapping here or alternatively: Go to the Track page, which is in the lower left corner of the bottom navigation bar. Tap the 'Connect to your bank accounts' button. You can connect as many bank accounts as you like. Follow the steps on screen (you will leave the app to our partner ‘Bud’ for a few screens). You might have to wait a short time before your data shows up. Once connected, you can scroll through all accounts on the Track screen. Click to see all your account transactions and set low balance alerts for each account. Benefits of connecting your personal bank include: Tracking your spending this month and comparing it to last month. Coach suggestions based on your spending to help you save money, spend less, and budget better. Categories and graphs to show how you are currently spending your money. The ability to link many accounts to see them all in one place. Having Trouble? Your bank might not work with the Open Banking feature that our Connected Accounts uses. However, this is an optional feature, so you should still be able to use the Stream app even if your bank cannot connect via Open Banking. For more information and to check if your bank is compatible, please click or tap here. Remember, all transfers, savings withdrawals, and salaries go to the bank account your employer has on file. If you need to change the bank account that Stream sends funds to, please see the article on how to change your banking details instead.
