What Happens When I Leave My Employer?

👋 If you have resigned, your account will be disabled. This means you will not have access to some features of the Stream app, such as Track and Pay.

Your account will be disabled even if you are working your notice and have not left yet.

How to Log In Without Your Work Email:

If you used your work email for your account and lost access, you can still log in with your phone number. Your phone number must be one you have used with us before.

To log in:

  1. Tap "Log In."

  2. Find "Tap here to log in with your phone number" under the white “Next” button.

  3. Enter your phone number.

  4. Tap “Next.”

Then a code will be sent to your number to complete the login.

What happens to my Build pot if I leave my employer?

Your Build Pot will be closed as soon as your employer tells us you are leaving. No further funds will be sent there. Any funds in your pot will be sent to your bank account within 5 working days.

What happens to my Savings if I leave my employer?

If you leave your employer, you will still be able to access the app and continue to Save with Stream. Other app features, like Track and Pay, will not work for you. But your Savings will still earn interest, and your account can still be checked by opening the app and going to Hub -> Save.

What happens to my Loan if I leave my employer?

If you leave your employer, you will still be able to access the app and your active Loan by going to Hub -> Loan.

As we won't be able to take your loan repayments from your salary, instead, we'll take repayments by Direct Debit, and you’ll receive an email confirming your repayment date and Direct Debit details when you leave your employer.

What happens to my final paycheck if I leave my employer?

On your last payday, you will be paid by your employer, and any outstanding early pay transfers will be settled.

Your employer may deduct wages from your final pay if you have taken more annual leave time than you have earned. If your payslip is different from what you expected, you will need to speak with your employer. We cannot change any issues in your payslip as we rely on the information sent to us by your employer.
