My Latest Salary Wasn't Sent to Stream, What Should I Do?

Why does Stream need to process your salary?

Stream gives you access to a portion of your earnings throughout your pay period. On payday, any funds you have already transferred are settled from your paycheck.

Once we receive your salary from your employer, we will automatically sort out any pay transfers, gift card purchases, loan or credit card payments*. Then we will send the remaining funds to your bank account.

Afterwards, we will send a confirmation email to your inbox. This will let you know that we have processed your salary. You can then view your Salary Statement on the app.

*Depending on the terms of the partnership between your employer and the Stream app, some features may not be available to all users.

What happens if your salary bypasses Stream and goes straight into your bank account?

If we do not receive your salary, we cannot settle your pay transfers. As these pay transfers would then be outstanding on your account, you will be unable to transfer pay until the next payday when we have settled these funds.

How do you make sure your next salary goes through Stream?

You will need to wait until next payday to transfer pay again. However, we suggest double-checking with your employer to find out:

  1. Why your salary was not sent to us

  2. Make sure your next salary comes through Stream to ensure you will always have access to pay transfer services throughout your pay cycle.
