How Is My Holiday/Sick/Parental Leave Pay Calculated?

When you are on any type of leave, your employer might pause your account.

If this happens, Stream cannot reactivate your account. If you have questions about whether you can get certain types of leave, you need to talk to your employer directly.

Hourly employees: Your balance will only show shifts worked at your regular rate. It usually does not include holiday, parental leave (maternity/paternity/adoption), or sick leave. However, rest assured that any holiday/leave wages will still be in your paycheck. If you have questions about your leave pay, you need to talk to your employer directly.

Salaried employees:  Your balance might include wages from holiday, parental leave, or sick leave. But this depends on whether your employer has chosen to include these wages through the app. To confirm if your available balance will include access to leave pay, you need to talk to your employer directly. If your leave pay is not in the Stream app, rest assured that it will still be in your paycheck.
