You must have a Build pot set up to get Cashback.

How does it work?

Cashback lets you earn extra money when you buy things through links in the Stream app.

1. Go to the discounts feature in the Stream app and find a brand you want to shop with.
2. You can choose to 'Shop with Cashback' only. Some deals and promotions can be combined with cashback to save more.
3. Make sure you click the link in the app to go to the retailer's website. A cookie will be placed on your device by our affiliate network.
You must accept the cookie for cashback to be tracked. NOTE: An affiliate network is a third-party provider. They connect Stream to retailers and allow rewards like cashback on certain purchases.
4. Once you buy something, the cookie tells the retailer that payment is needed.
5. The retailer pays the affiliate network.
6. The affiliate network then pays us.
7. We then pay your cashback into your Build pot or Savings account.

How much cashback will I earn?

The amount of cashback you earn depends on the retailer's rules and there are often special offers for new customers. You can find a breakdown of the main cashback levels on the details screen. We cannot tell you the exact amount you will get before you buy. It depends on how much you spend and any specific retailer terms. The most cashback you can earn each month is £100.

How long does it take?

1. The cashback might not show up right away in your Stream app. To start tracking the purchase, the retailer needs to tell us about it. Then we can figure out how much you can get.
2. The time it takes for your cashback to be paid into your Build pot can vary a lot. This depends on the retailer you shopped at. The payment times depend only on the retailer. You can find these on the total cashback page.
3. Your cashback will be 'Pending' until we get the payment. Then we will move it to your Build pot, where it will show as 'Approved' on your account.

Why has my cashback been rejected?

We do not see why your cashback is rejected. This is done by the retailer you bought from. Common reasons for rejection are: Order canceled or returned. Certain products will not qualify for cashback, e.g., a gift card used to buy goods. See specific offer terms for full details.

Other breaks of terms and conditions. You did not accept the cookies when asked, or you used many cashback sites, and the Stream app was not the last one.

Where can I see my cashback?

To see how much cashback you have earned: Go to Discounts in the Hub. Tap the ‘Total Cashback’ tile at the top of the screen to see a breakdown of all your cashback, split by Saved, Pending, and Rejected. All saved cashback will be moved into your Build pot, and your balance will update.
