If you don’t see the Loan icon in your app’s Hub or if you see an error message when trying to apply, it usually means you aren't eligible to apply for a loan.
Keep in mind that meeting the initial criteria to apply is the first step, but it doesn't guarantee your loan application will be approved.
Am I eligible to apply?To see the loan option in your app, you’ll need to meet these requirements:
- Employer Partnership:
Your company must have launched the Loan feature with us. Some companies haven't launched this feature yet or have chosen not to offer lending products.
- Tenure: You’ve been with your current employer for at least 6 months.
- Age & Residency: You are at least 18 years old and live in Great Britain (excluding the Channel Islands).
- Application History: You haven't been declined for a loan in the last 3 months, you haven't made multiple recent applications, and you don't have another active credit application with us (if you do, you'll need to contact Support to cancel the old one first).
- Recent Repayments: If you recently paid off a Stream loan within three months of taking it out, there is a short waiting period before you can apply again.
Still think something is wrong?If you meet all the criteria above, but the icon is still missing:
- Troubleshoot: Double-check that your app is updated to the latest version and try restarting it.
