My Payslip Doesn't Match the Track Earnings

What is the difference between Gross and Net Earnings?

  • Gross Earnings (or gross pay) is the total amount of money you earn before taxes and other deductions, like national insurance, are taken out.

  • Net Earnings are what is left after these deductions. It is the amount you actually receive in your paycheck.

What Does This Mean for Stream?

On the Track page, you will see an estimate of your gross earnings through the current pay period.

Stream is a third party that partners with your employer to provide access to a portion of your earnings before payday. We do not have any access to payroll documents or processes. This means we cannot accurately say what you will receive on payday.

What we can do is give you an idea of your gross earnings and give you access to a portion of this before payday.

My payslip doesn't match the app

When you receive your payslip, this will include all your details regarding gross pay, deductions, and net pay.

If your gross earnings in your payslip are different from the Track page, keep in mind:

  • The Stream app shows an estimate.

  • Your employer may have adjusted your gross earnings before processing your pay, and we may not see those changes.

  • If you have any questions regarding your payslip, you will need to reach out to your employer.

If the net pay does not match what you received in your bank account, note that you will not see Stream activity on your payslip. You will need to check your salary statement. See How to View Your Salary Statement.
